I have this configuration on the bridge jfusion:
phpbb3 this master.
joomla this slave.

I installed Freichat integration with joomla, and installed the module for joomla Freichat.

The chat and chat room function normally, but the avatars of phpbb3 not appear, instead there appears a random avatar from gravatar.com

How to make the Freichat use the avatars of phpbb3?

I'll need to install Freichat integration with phpbb?
I would not, because then the index would have to edit my theme manually, correct?

Can i force users to log into the chat while checking my current user db to see if they are a registered user already. I do not want this to autologin when joining site and i do not want guests to use.

When i try to send the chat to an email account, a error message appeared: Contents as follows
SMTP --> ERROR: Password not accepted from server 535-5.71
Username & password not accepted. Learn more at 535.5.7.1 ...support.google
SMTP Error: Could not authenticate
Message was not sent.
Mailer error: SMTP Error: Could not authenticate

Few points i can't understand (now understand after the HOT finds, just ignore 1 & 2)
1 I did not send to gmail, it was just a mail box in the website.
2 the browser i use when the chat is going on is FireFox

HOT: JUST FOUND, back end frei_config shows

HOTTER: Just found the admin panel to do the same. How to change the password to this panel?

Drop this stupid statement: Bugging thought: Since smtp_server is xxx.gmail.com then it will ask for password before it allow you to send email through it, how does the system respond to this. Please enlighten, already enlightenED. Only left to test it.

In my earlier post (re: Freichat 7.6/mod_freichat_v7), i said i finally got the chat room sliding out because of the clash with Facebook slider; but i still don't know how to set it to send files .

At the right hand bottom corner tray there are only has 2 "additional options",
Following very useful & important options you mentioned in various threads are missing
1) saving or deleting conversation in chat windows
2) sending file / uploading, sender receives information that file is uploaded

The "add smileys" is in the main slide contains the whole lot of them, good!.

Important: How do we get these important options in the tray in order to make this chat fully featured! Help

In my website, it is recorded that there are 10 guest, but frechat box shows no users.

I notice that sometimes users does appear but it is not ALWAYS.

I installed freichat yesterday, it appears that it does not work on firefox and chrome. It works on IE though.

Then, I have also some questions: I would like to have a chat between 2 users only, and those 2 users would be identified by their sessions. Is there a way to update code to do that?

There was no errors during installation, but users could not send messages. Frie_chat table is empty.
Resolved by change "if (ctype_digit($value))" to "if (is_numeric($value))" in server/freichat.php str.79 and str.83

Well done for your product! It is absolutely amazing!
We have integrated with a custom made codeigniter application and works brilliantly.

Now we are looking on moving the application to a secure via https.
But unfortunately this user list window displays forever,
"Fetching...user..data
kindly wait
loading..........."

Exactly the same installation over an http works the same.
Actually it is the same domain with http/https identical!!!

chatbox at right side keeps saying Fetching...user..data kindly wait loading...........

I have installed Freichat.V.7.6 Free on a free web hosting site http://bcdc.comli.com/ and it is showing the message 'You're banned' on every user. I checked the Settings in Administration Panel and no user is banned. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you

The only thing stopping me from purchasing & using Freichat at the moment is not being able to kick out perverts/trolls from the chat rooms and add admin/mod staff :)

Hello Codologic team, i've tried instal the freichat on my joomla website, tried 2 diferent aproaches, once using the automatic mode, by sellecting the joomla version and another making a manual install using a diferenta data base to install and giving all information!
Also tried using the Joomla Module to display the chat on the front end and also tried adding the code tho the header of the index.php file of the defaulf joomla template!
None of the aproaches worked!
Can you please provide some assistance on doing it!
The Joomla Theme we are using is JF Corporate with Jomsocial and Kunena Board instaled!
