I installed the chat with success, I inserted 4 users in order, but I have problems logging:

1. I can only enter different browsers in order:
id 1 firefox
id 2 chrome
I can not login with different id as initially indicated id = 4, LOGIN tells me.

2. when in the test table "users" missing id 1 and id = 2,3,4 are only. Does not start.

Hello, I just upgraded to freichat 7.2 from 6.3.

I unistalled the previous module from the joomla backend and deleted all freichat folders.

The installation of freichat 7.2 went fine, I installed the module but It doesn't show on the module list, when trying to reinstall it, it tells me it already exists.

If I go and edit the parameters after clicking submit everything goes back to default and I am not able to edit.

What did I do wrong? thank you in advance for the support

I reset database and files, reinstall freichat but they don't show.

When submit setting I get in local version:

I've just installed Freichat 7.2 and I'm impressed again :)

But there is a problem with sending files.
First problem was that client plugin tried to upload file to not existent folder (./upload instead of ./upload/upload). Error message was: Permission problem.... but when i created that folder manualy files where transferred to server properly.

Sender resieves the mesage that everything is ok, file is on server, in senders windows appears link to that file, BUT receivers sees NOTHING. No message that file was sent, no message in database. What can be wrong?

Hi all, first of all thanks for the gr8 job and for this fantastic web app.

Unfortunately i updated firefox today and freichat stopped working.
In my site, yesterday (before the update of my browser) all was warking perfectly.

Now (only with firefox) the mini-chat doesn't start.

More information about my domain:
CMS Editor used: Joomla! v2.5
Database: MySql

I installed Freichat in Joomla Community Builder and got it all up and running and working in Firefox.

I then went over to Explorer to test and it is not working?

Do you have any fixes or idea's why it is not working in Explorer?

I then accessed the site on another computer and logged into the site with Firefox and Explorer, but no chatroom options came up. It only seems to work on the computer the software was installed on.

I do think the program has potential but what is going on and why doesn't it work on other computers?

I tried your component for Joomla with Jomsocial,and i love it,but there are some problems,which I couldn't find answers. So,I uploaded my server the unpacking files and installed,then i donwloaded the mod and installed it. Unfortunately, I saw that Freichat (every versions) doesn't work in Google Chrome,but it works in Internet Explorer.
I don't know what's the problem,but i want that work in G.Chrome,because my users use it.
Can you help me?

Can chat be used a a support chat only? that the chat window on the bottom right when a guest enters the website can only see one person inside that chat and only talk to him?

im using SMF forum and i whish the only chat user whom user can chat with be someone registered to that forum.

i'm shoot the ip address to server ex 192.168.1.3/myproject,
succesfully appears at comp client(with ip 192.168.1.4)

And the problem freichat didnt appears lol

i wanna ask about end session online, i have logout modul in my custom website, when i click logout im still online seen by other computer..
there are code or command to end session i can put in my logout modul or other?

I had this version FreiChatX 6.3.2 and it was working fine and I would like to upgrade to the FreiChat.v.7.2.zip. After I've uploaded and extracted the file, then I've visited the link http://www.mydomain.com/freichat/
This is the message that I'm getting

first, let me thank you for a generally awesome chat system.

My problem is, that the chat room flyout label saying "Chat Room" is like dark grey color on a black BG.
What actually makes it simply unreadable. I used to search for changing it in the backend and the CSS but it seems I am just blind. Could you please lend me a hand and lead me to where I can change color values just for that flyout label?

It worked all fine until I moved to a new host. Used fresh install of newest version of Freichat and got it finally working. But no I am stuck on an old issue (which was solved on former site): the avatar is not showing up and I get an awful scroll bar. See: www.duga.tk Using Joomla 2.5.4 with JomSocial and JSocial.php (driver) is activated. It only shows the word "avatar" and this awful scroll bar. Hope someone can help us out (again);
