I'm using official driver and official script but also changing all files and folders to 755 it keep showing error...anyone knows what to do?

I use Freichat 10,0, joomla 3.5.1. I installed freichat and it works fine. But I can not change any settings from backend. I click on save button but it doesn't work.

Hello, upon installing FreiChat onto my HumHub site I noticed that it is somewhat fragmented i appearance.
I was going to post an image but that would be confusing so I just re-enabled guests and will link the site: removed link after a solution was given, thanks again!

Also the chat rooms become completely non-functional upon editing any of the rooms.

I recently changed my website to redirect to HTTPS. However, I installed freichat before making this change. Freichat is no longer loading for my site.

It looks like Freichat is not redirecting its make_url function to https. In my debug console in chrome, it is giving me the following error:

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://MY_URL.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script 'http://MY_URL.com/freichat/client/main.php?id=1&xhash=1fc434112254ac547c90dcda58cc3717'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

(index):70 Mixed Content: The page at 'https://MY_URL.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet 'http://MY_URL.com/freichat/client/jquery/freichat_themes/freichatcss.php'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

I have attempted to hardcode an https redirect in ./freichat/arg.php by modifying the following lines of code under public static function build_paths() to be https regardless of the original server redirect.

After installing freichat I get this error at the top of the website

Spent whole day try to solve this. Only got more problems after one is fixed. Surprised there is no single tutorial of integrating freichat with codoforum which all from CODOLOGIC!

I am using Mac's built in Apache server

My codoforum is installed locally under /Library/WebServer/Documents/codoforum

My freitchat is under
/Library/WebServer/Documents/freichat

I am trying to install freiChat. Following is a step by step description what I have done and what problem I have solved.

INSTALL OF FREICHAT:

1. Accept.
2. Choose Integration Type as Customized
3. All filed required writable, make them writable.
4. Mysql set up after submit, get this in response : Well done! Successfully connected to your database Then create table, meet with problems, and then I manually run freichat/installation/install.sql in db.
5. WebSite Integration I got a block of code with such a instruction :

Copy-paste the following code after <head> tag in your index.php or your template/theme file

I spent at least one hour to search and figure out what the hell does this mean in codoforum. Finally, I find a place to paste which is :

I am not going to paste that long block of code here. But I use exactly what it provided me. I read posts saying only include <script> and <link> lines. but when I do it that way, feel like I am more wrong.

everything feels good till now, and then all things become unsolvable.

I enter my url : http://localhost/codoforum
submit and of course, didn't see FreiChat at all.

Then I click NO. It said, freichat code is not found...

Checking the console from browser
the problem is sourcing main.php return error 500

there is get error when sourcing main.php

This takes me hours to figure it out.
I forgot how, it seems to be something about permission, but setting the whole client folder to 777 NOT solve this problem. I really can't remember what did I do, but magically I make this work.

Then when I decided to write this post, I delete Freichat and decided to install it again. Holy shit. I am stuck here again.

500 error when sourcing main.php

Other problems also never be able to fix include:

hardcode.php is NEVER found.
(this is a pretty common issue)
uncaught typeerro: cannot read property 'length' of undifined
(this is common issue, I read some post saying use latest jquery 1.9.1 would solve.)

The most close place I have ever reached is that having freicaht's json part found in my site but not showed because of probably json issues.

efforts made include change client side setting is freichat's backend.
chaning fields' values in hardcode.php

I have spent hours reading many posts. I am so surprised why there is so little helpful information regarding to install freichat in codoforum.

What could I say?

I just configured Freichat free version on elgg 1.12 version but after installation it is showing "Getting list of online users ...."

I have tried by updating user table details in hardcore.php but of no use.

can someone help me out?

First thanks for the great chat script. I installed Freichat and its working fine except for the following issues.

First the chat rooms don't display correctly. Heres a capture of the issue.:

The chat messenger part works fine although there is another slight issue. When I send a message to a user who is offline theres the red text similar too: "User is offline they will get the message when they login". But when the user logs in there is no message.

Hello. I would like to have the main chat window (the one with group chat rooms) contained inside a <div> of my website instead of the floating "Chat" button that is placed at top or bottom of the webpage.

Is it possible? How can I achieve this?

A second option is to have the Chat button placed not at top of the webpage but at some other location like a <div> specified by me, or at least at the CENTER of the page and have the window opened by default.

If two users are videochatting they can also use the textmessage block right next to the video screen.
But after a certain number of lines the text disappear behind the textinputblok and the user needs to scroll down to read the text.

In the regular chat the text stays nice above the text input block and the sidebar is moving down. But here in this option the sidebar is moving up.

Can you help me to fix this big problem.

I have installed FC on my site www.ta-rs.de but since I changed the Theme it is not showing anymore. I have the module on an active position and also see Freichat code on the page source when I check with Chrome. I also tried disabeling/enabeling GZIP and AJAX problem switch, but nothing happens. Any idea what else to do would be appreciated.
