I hate all this forum spam.. please use noCaptcha recaptcha as it will stop the spam. Also, delete all users that have ever posted spam.. I know it may take a while but I'm sure your users would rather have no spam than spam.

Is there like a way to create a custom feature for the codoforum I'm using? I want to be able to close or lock a topic if you are the author of the topic or an admin or moderator. I know this is possible, but I'm not sure what the syntax is for fetching rows in the codoforum platform. I also don't know the syntax for checking if a user has the right roles or if the current session user is the author.

For example

Something along those lines would be good. If this type of customization works, I'm pretty sure you can also do it with a "pin" or "sticky" feature as well right? The reason why I say this is because I like how codoforum runs and how smooth it runs. However, since it doesn't have features like a normal forum does, it is just slightly behind generic forum platforms. Meaning like SMF, VBulletin, IP Board, .etc. They all have sticky/ pin, close/ lock options for topics.

It would be nice to have those options in the codoforum platform.

Can anyone please suggest me, where I can edit the HTML Layouts of the site, I mean, like we do in wordpress like, there is a main index.php file, where we can add functions in the header, or editing the existed functions, and Where to go for single topic layout editing, like we do in wordpress by editing the single-post.php..

• General Conversation
• Spam

Then on each subsite I'm looking to include the General Conversation and Spam while allowing those sites to have their own unique forums as well.

Is this something that is possible?
