I am having some troubles with the "customized" version of Freichat 9.6.

I installed it at http://chat.internal.domain (running over Apache2) and it works fine. I upgraded an index.php to be able to fetch users and be logged in and it works perfect.

But, it is an internal domain and i need to reverse proxy it. So i installed it in a new Apache2 server external domain (in the DMZ) http://chat.external.domain and it does'nt work, bugging on the step "Getting list of online users".

With ChromeBug, it first told me that it was a cross domain problem (Access-Control-Allow-Origin) and i told to my internal website to accept headers from the external source and i stopped having the errors in Chrome Bug. Yet, it still does'nt work (Getting list of online users...") and here are the errors i'm having in the Apache2 logs from the internal (chat.internal.domain) source :

Forgot to tell you about something. I changed the index.php with the code you're giving while installing just to test in guest mode and it still doesn't work (just change the two links to match my external url)

Make sure you have made a fresh install of freichat for your external domain .

Do you get any errors in the response of requests made by freichat ?
You can check the request response using chrome (press f12 -> click on network tab -> click on any request -> click on response)
