I'm using JomSocial and I would like to use my users' avatars in the chat's avatar as it seems more logic. But I could not find how it's done in the forums, well one was explaining but I didn't understand a thing I'm not really a JavaScript expert so I would like detailed explanation on what to change.

Jomsocial's avatars are already integrated with freichat .
You do not have to do anything .

May be during the installation you selcted the integration driver as plain 'Joomla' instead of 'Joomla with JomSocial' ?

No, I did choose Joomla with Jomsocial. And it still doesn't work. Any ideas?
