As my forum requires moderator approval for user registration, I would like to get a notification that a new user registered.

However I can't find a setting to enable that?

Am I missing something?

I think there is only the option to go to admin backend/Moderation/Approve Users.

I did not find any option about some settings for Email notification about new users - maybe @admin can point us to the right direction.

Kind regards, Andy

Hmm, this is bad news

Let us wait what Codologic Admin will tell us about, maybe there is such a option but we dont see it

Hi,

We have added this to our roadmap. We will try to add this as part of V5.X

But for now, you can do this simple hack to get a notification:

Open sys/CODOF/User/Register.php

Replace line 141

$mail->send_mail();

with

$mail->send_mail();
$mail->to = 'PUT_YOUR_EMAIL_ID_HERE'
$mail->send_mail();

What this will do is send the email confirmation link to the user registering the forum as well as the to the email address you put above.

Thanks for this hack @admin

V5 will be so wonderful, looking forward to it.

Thanks, that looks easy enough
