Hi all.

I tried to use FreiChat module on HumHub but although it worked under FireFox (macOS version) it did not work on Safari neither the desktop version nor de iOS/iPadOS version.

As soon as we press the first key it stops working.

• FreiChat module version: 1.0.3
• HumHub version: 1.8.2
• Safari version: 14.1
• Mobile Safari version: iOS 14.6

It often happens that apps, themes, software etc. react differently with different OS versions or browsers.

For example the following elements and their attributes are not supported by Safari, but with the other well known systems and browsers:

value
<dialog>
open
<object>
form
usemap

etc etc etc

Improvements are necessary, which are often only discovered by users like you - thank you for letting us know, I think the Codologic team will deal with the problem as soon as possible. Thanks again

Interesting.. sounds like the problems we are having with our HumHub site. Several of those using iPhones cannot type in the chat. I have started a ticket, as well as emailed admin@codologic.com for help in this matter.

Maybe I'm wrong, but in my opinion it could be due to newer Apple App Store regulations. It is quite possible that Apple has some new restrictions and only Aps etc. work there, which are also officially known in Apple's AppStore? But maybe I'm wrong with that idea.
