Hi there,

I was looking for a feature where users can send text messages to eachother, while using the videochat feature. It seems a desirable feature, to be able to send messages in the same window as the videochat window.

I noticed a Text Chat option in videochat.php. After making it visible on the page, a Text chat button appears. After clicking, it shows a chat window. However, the messages do not arrive on the other side.

How would I be able to get this to work?

We had intentionally disabled this feature due to some browser conflicts.

We will enable this again in our next release.

I had a question about the new releases. Will I get notified through email when there is a new release? Or could I check it somewhere in my account? How would I know when a new release is issued?

You should be able to download it from your account.

You can always check in your dashboard , where it specifies the current version and the latest version.
