Hi, First of all please allow me to congratulate you on this extremely flexible component! I am currently testing it for a multi-language site and since three of the five I require are done it seemed ideal.

I would just like clarification on what the front end 'translate to your own language' is actually supposed to do? At the moment it doesn't seem to change anything although various languages are installed. Am I missing something?

I realise that I can pick a language in the backend but our site uses language files and joomfish to provide dynamic translation. Obviously that is not possible here but we would like our members to be able to select their own language themselves.

Or have I messed up on the installation? Thanks in advance!

Sorry, again! Note to self, think before posting! The message text is translated into the required language, of course.

currently users cannot select the language themselves, but you can set a default language from the backend.

I can't set the language from the back-end. I set it to "German..." and save it. Nothing changes on the front end, still everything in english. Back-end tells me I have set it to german.
