Long time ago i asked that how to increase the chat speed & reduce the server load & ask you to make freichat more fast in delivering message like in google chat & facebook chat. I dont know what technology they use but i want to tell you about new technology which you can use in your chat to make it faster just like facebook & also reduce the server load what current freichat use i am not joking you can see the APE-server (Ajax push engine) it is an OpenSource solution any one can use it. You can see about it more on their website http://www.ape-project.org/index.php & you can also see their chat demo then you know why i am telling you this at http://www.ape-project.org/demos/1/ape-real-time-chat.html the chat is really fast by using this freichat you can make chat really fast & less server load.
Please think about it & tell me your suggestion on that.

We already knew about the APE technology , and had started work on it earlier.

we are currently not getting enough time to add APE or similar technology in FreiChatX now .
but i can assure you that freichat will be a lot faster using the push technology
in future .

For the love of god, how can I personally mod it with ape to make it stop giving me sql errors?

We wont be using APE, we are currently working on a custom PUSH server technology that far surpasses APE.
