Upgrade method from 6.0 to 6.1?

Noticed there is a newer version, just do a regular install or should I just upload some files manually? I have a custom skin

backup your skin directory.
delete the old 'freichat' directory
do a regular install by uploading the new 'freichat' folder.
now copy back you custom skin directory.
