I uploaded new smilies and changed their names to the existing smiley names, yet some of the old ones are still in the selection box. Any ideas?

your browser has cached those images.
clear the browser cache and you should see the new smilies.

I actually updated those smiles over a month ago. The new ones are there, but so are some of the old ones. :) I was thinking that maybe there are more than one reference to them or something?

The only function that creates these smiley image links is
FreiChat.SmileyGenerate() in freichat/client/freichat.js

There is no other reference or anything . If you had deleted the old smileys
and renamed the new smileys then , there should'nt be any problem .
Can you confirm if the old smileys are renamed/deleted .

I checked, and saw that there were some misspellings on my part that left the old smiles in there. And there were a couple of duplicates in the .js that caused multiple smiles. Sorry. :)
