Hello,
I installed freichat 6.2 on my joomla 1.7 site.
The chat works in firefox but when i open my site in Google chrome or IE I can't see the chat. I tried to reinstall it but each time the same result.
Can someone help me ???

can you see the error console in chrome and let us know if there are any error messages relating to the chat.

this is the error chrome shows me "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier "

Sorry , but the error provided didn't give me any clue , so can you
give me your website address , i will have a check with my IE browser.

And yes if you have restricted the chat to only users , then please
send a test account to my email .

The error is because of the following piece of code which is added to
FreiChatX code

In wich file is this code added ???

Many files are included by a single file freichat/client/main.php

So i cant tell you exactly which file ,
But in general its in freichat/client/main.php

But the strange thing is , its working in firefox .

yeah , Do you have any ideas how it is possible that firefox shows it and the other browsers doesn't ???

I guess there may be some script that is identifying the browser
I have no firm thoughts about this .

Can you speak to your hosting provider about this problem .
