SSO Integration

Was hoping I can get some help with the SSO Integration settings

_Additionaly, you can add a parameter at the end so that your website knows that the request has come from codoforum.
i.e http://mywebsite.com/login.php?referrer=codoforum

Then, you can then check if $GET['referer'] === 'codoforum' and redirect the user back to codoforum after he logs in your website.
All this will help improve user experience.

I need some instruction on the referer section. Where do i put this code and can you elaborate on the redirect portion of the code.

Hi,

Suppose, your website has a login form for your users in http://mywebsite.com/login.php

Then, set the login url in codoforum backend -> plugins -> sso as

http://mywebsite.com/login.php?referrer=codoforum

Now, in your login code when the login is successful, you can check if the user came directly from codoforum or from your own website by checking the GET parameter in the login url.

i.e $_GET['referrer'] == 'codoforum'

If above is true, after login, redirect him back to codoforum otherwise redirect him to his user profile or anything else.

Sounds like this software is not yet for the average user. Trying to integrate with wordpress but i am not a developer.

I was able to install and get the SSO plugin working. Got the login url setup and it works but I do not know how to write php redirect code.

Will stick with the ugly BBpress at this point.

Hi,

You do not need the login redirect. That is just an optional setting.
