HELLO i INSTALLED freichat x 6.2.2 and installed the module mod_freichatx.zip from this link

i also change the posiotn of the friechatx module to position-0 in the module managment
the installation went fine but when i refresh my website, I don't get any text box.
i use joomla 1.7.1
and cb 1.7.1

help pls .

I installed Freichat and that went fine as I followed the video tutorial but after installing the plugin I did not see the chat box on the site.

What could be the problem

well there could be problems which are related to the server configurations,
use chrome, open your site, go to developers tools -> console tab.
refresh the website to see if there are any errors related to FreiChatX.

Please check if the urls are correct .

the url us not correct . the right 1 i think is
http:\\localhost\joomla1\installed\directory\freichat.....
if i understand correctly what you ment.
where do i fix the adress

what I was trying to say is ... you were getting a 404 error, which means the file or directory is not present in the server. please double check if the directory/file mentioned in the error is actually present in the server.

Thank you ! this is great and I love it ...... My problem was that I had created a module position for it 'chat' but when I changed that to one of the original bottom module positions on the template, it worked fine.

thank you it works .i just had to put the friechat directory on the right place on the server.

it work fine after i fix the location problem , but after i restart my computer (i'm doing evrything on a local host apachi server(wamp)).i got the following error on the moule managment

the XML data of the moduel is unavailebel
i notice that on the other folder on the server ("joomla" - the errors are on "joomla1")
it works fine. how do i fix this problem i couldn't understand from the video what did i do wrong

i simply forgot to install the mod_freichatx.zip file
