Status images misaligned in IE 8

Hello!

I love FreiChatX, but I've run into a bit of a problem.

Everything is working great, but in Internet Explorer 8 (have to use it for work) FreiChatx becomes misaligned. The status icon at the top drops down to a new line, and the status icons for the users are a little below their names. I haven't edited anything in the CSS file that would cause this change. In firefox, the chat box looks perfect. Any idea what is causing this / how to fix it?

Here are some screenshots

The IE8 Problem

Firefox is fine

Thank you!

Ahhh, we had a setting that is 'display all intranet pages in quirk view' turned on... unchecking that fixed it. Now i'll just have to convince them to do that for everyone! Thank you!!!
