sadly, we completely forgot to implement that functionality.
you could go to the backend and decrease the amount of time the messages are saved.
or you could directly go to the database and delete them manually.
we will implement this as soon as possible.
If you will be adding the option in future release that would be excellent. For now I could work with a time when the logs dump automatically... you mention in the admin panel or backend... I have Joomla1.5.25 installed. The module seems to have no parameters. Do I need to go to a specific file? Is there a way to log into your module? The history in the chat room has been there for days. if the parameter is held in some php file... which one?
All the parameters can configured using the backend.
the backend URL will be similar to http://example.com/freichat/administrator
Ohhh... I forgot. Yes, I got back into the admin menu... yes the setting is for 10 hours. Yet it seems to have no effect. I have set for 1 hour and even the following day the log is still the same. Is it a browser issue? Is it the contiguous time logged in the specific ChatRoom? I'll look into the db with phpmyadmin to see if i can just purge. Anyway, great product overall. If you're going to address the issue in the next release, that would be fantastic.
