My forum's got a lot of people creating duplicate threads. Is there a way I can merge them?

Also, can I give this kind of permission to 'moderators'?

Will this include auto merging as well? So if a user posts once, then later without any replies it will just add to the first post?

We have not thought about auto-merging, but we will defintely try to include it.
