HELP! Topics with pictures freeze on posting

Hi,

When I try to upload the picture and post the topic, the picture uploads fine but when I click the post button, it just waits for ever and ever and the topic is not posted.

I have an important presentation tomorrow and this is not working! OMG!

I checked in the DB and the image is uploaded and topic is created in the topics table, but not in the posts table.

the documentation says:

The PHP gd extension is required to support avatar uploading.

My installation has php_gd2, is that the same?
Also - is php_opcache required?

Any Ideas?

We tested it and it seems like the requests are failing when topic is created with images.

Can you check your server error log for any errors ?

FWIW this might be related to the other issue I reported. When I use a URL (any link) at the START of my post, it will just hang. If I put the URL anywhere else then it works.

Others experiencing this? I'll test it with this forum and see if it's the same behaviour.

They fixed it on my machine so now posting an image does work. I tried posting a URL as the first line in the body and it worked fine. Perhaps the image fix worked for this as well..
