Hi,
We have found some security issues in codoforum.
Although codoforum is ready to be released, we need to fix them and do some testing.
We will release it in 3-4 days.
Since, we were not able to fix a proper release date, we did not update the clock.
Thanks for the updates on here... respect!
I guess that's another potential suggestion. Is it realistic to have a clock that forces you to try and release a new version every month?
Instead of seeing a clock, maybe we could see an RSS feed of news/announcements/progress so that as admins we know what's going on rather than simply questioning why the clock appears to be wrong? I feel the clock is more a 'target' than a true indication of what work is going on and how much work/effort is required on your end to perfect the next stable update.
I don't expect updates monthly... I much prefer the 'when they are ready' approach, and respect that the devs are humans. Also, I'd much prefer to wait a month while you fix security holes rather than deploying a vulnerable version, having my forum hacked, being temporarily suspended by my hosting company (for hosting malware) and losing my whole forum community as a result of a half-baked update. Safety is my #1 priority and I'll wait indefinitely for it. I really respect your current approach, which is to get it 'right' rather than getting it out the door ASAP.
