When a guest user visits the website an auto generated name is assigned to it i.e Guest-1mrqt . I just want that guest user can rename his or her into some meaningful name.

This functionality is not available as yet, but its on our to do list.
It also creates confusion if the guest renames his name to one of the logged in user's username.

For the same name we can just add a numeric value to it like Sam1, Sam2 etc.

yes we know that. but you see if guest changes his/her name to "SAM" prior to the registered SAM logging in.
FreiChat has no way to know if a registered person named "SAM" already exists(Its because of the way FreiChat currently interfaces with the existing users).

Newer versions of FreiChat will support custom usernames like Guest_SAM.
