I am also a developer and i want to improve FreiChatXC desktop client so i want your help in making it look like gtalk and other mesenger in terms of look , function etc so please help me in improving FreiChatXC.
And i also want to know that there is any development is being made in FreiChatXC or not because there is not any updated version of FreiChatXC since after the feb 25 release .
Please bring some more features in FreiChatXC.

the development of FreiChatXC is currently stopped because of some security issues that were raised. The development will continue as soon as version 5.0 is released.
There are two versions of XC , one built with java(currently available for download) and another using C++. we are still thinking which technology would be the best for a chat client.
