Hello everyone.

I have been using Freichat for a while and everything was fine.
But after the last Google Chrome update, it got a bug in this specific browser.
Now its like the chat windows get under the content frame, the objects of the content just slide trough the chat windows over them, instead of under them.
This makes it impossible to write and hard to read.

In the rest of the browsers it still works fine.

Do you know something about this??

By the way, im using Joomla without any social component like Community Builder or Joomsocial.

Which version of chrome are you facing this problem . It would be easier for us to solve the problem if you can provide us with your website address and a test account via the contact us form

It is happening with my site as well. I am no PHP coder but this may be a bug that Google will have to fix. Thankfully the only content I have on my site that overlaps is the top menu.

I forgot to mention that it is happening with version 22.0.1229.94 m

Try deleting the cache and reload your webpage .

I deleted both cookies and cache and still the same thing.

The only part that goes under the content frames of some site layouts is the message box that opens after you click on a name. The chat rooms seem fine. The link below will show you the image of what it is doing.

Try below solution ,

Go to freichat/client/jquery/basic/css.php

Search for the class .freicontain , then add the below line

z-index:999;

That solved the problem, the message box is no longer going under the content frame. Thank you for the quick solution.
