hi all im having a problem with freichat getting user names. I use eqdkp plus cms and phpbb3 I have my cms bridged to use my phpbb3 user databasae and that works fine but i can not get freichat 7.6 to use it. i have tried to use the interagation but my database table and database user are not standard i have for example somename_phpbb wich forces me to enter manualy and i have tried using the custom way as well. if any one has any idear on how i can resolve this it would be great thanks

The custom installation should have worked . Please enable PHP debug from FreiChat backend and post any errors that you get there .

also i have looked to see what driver it using in hardcoded.php and says Phpbb

first install it for the CMS, don't worry about phpBB for now.
you should go for custom install.
don't make any changes after copy-pasting the code in the end. open two browsers(chrome and firefox), load the site and check if you can see guests on both the sides.

let us know if you are successful, if it works we can move on to user integration.

ok first sry for late reply have been working :( i did a fresh custom install and loaded the page in firefox and chrome the chat room only shows one user in each and does not display any thing when i enter any thing on the other and the user bar down the bottom just says Fetching...user..data

See if you can find any errors related to javascript.
SHIFT+CTRL+J in chrome, then refresh your website, you should definitely see some errors. please report those.
