Hello,

I would like to manage FreiChat directly with my buttons and actions.

I would Iike to do two thinks :
- have a button to open and close the chat.
- have a button to start a discussion directly with a user passed in parameters.

Could you help me to find the method I need to use please ?

Do you want button to close the chatwindow or the chatbox or completely hide all visible elements of the chat ?

I prefer to close the chat completely to stop the scripts

We recommend you to do the following way.
Make the chat go offline . you can do this by running the function

FreiChat.freichatopt("goOffline");

In fact I would like to open the chat when an user log in in my website, but I would like this user "Offline" with the small offline image.

FreiChat.freichatopt("goOffline");

This will force freichat to go offline .
