So I was wondering are there any tutorials for the themes section ? I understand some of it, but when I go to edit none of the values show up so it can be hard to tell what kind of value I can use in certain places. For example I could figure out that if I add a new style of color I would add #000000 in the value box, but there are quite few I would have no idea what goes in the value :) Any help would be awesome ! Thank you !!!

Edit : Well I figured out that in Chrome all the settings appear but in FF and IE they do not show up at all and in IE the screen is all messed up all over the place :) but that is ok because I do not use IE ;) In Chrome I can now see all the values and have something to work with :) but if there is a tutorial out there I would still like to see it :) Thank you !

thanks for your feedback . We willl try to add some tutorials and we also have plans to make the theme maker little more easier by providing color pickers instead of manual color editing.

we will try to make it compatible atleast with firefox and chrome .

well it is actually working for me in chrome only but the problem im facing now is nothing will save once i have changed something. i tested it a few times by just changing the color of a few things then i save the work and check my page and nothing has changed on the front-end and when i go to check the theme edit page again all the stuff i changed and saved is back to default like i never changed it at all :( if i try to load this is IE the page is all over the place like stuff will be half off the screen and the title bar is gone completely and in firefox everything looks ok but you cannot edit the value boxes. i can remember this is the same problem i had back when i used freichat the 1st time i think version 7x nothing would save for themes and they would just keep reverting back to default look no matter what i did. i cant even upload the files manually into the basic theme folder for they still dont change anything front end or in the editor so im stumped.

i cannot be the only one with this problem :( ive gone as far as re-installing a few times now and even trying to add the files i want b4 uploading and they still look like the default on the front and editor which makes no sense to me like it has to be pulling this from somewhere else :(

so i have been messing around with firebug and element inspector on IE and i was able to the get the page for the theme maker to line up so i could see it my making IE run in IE7 mode. but then the boxes blank out again for me to type anything in to. so im stumped at this point lol everything else works perfect though and this is a great program to have for any type of community based site ;)

yes i have tried at least 10 times to change something in the theme maker and hit save while in chrome, it says it saves and then il check the front end and its still default and when i load back into the theme maker page all my changes are gone and defaulted again :( i added some pics so you can see the errors im getting in IE and FF :)

Please wait for the next release of freichat , we have made very important changes to the theme maker . Many bugs are solved , some new features are added , and is now compatible with firefox.
But please do not use IE while using the theme maker because it is not compatible with it .

I got the new release and its saving and working on firefox ! :) Just a quick question, am I able to overwrite the images manually by uploading my own ? I noticed they still look the same no matter what you upload. Great work on the new release !!! Thank you !!

found one thing that is not loading, i had a few people jump on to test things out and when we use the chatroom its not showing the users as being online and where is would say no one is online you can only see it if you highlight it.

yes everyone was in the chatroom and we could all see each others messages and what i meant by the highlighting part where the users would be listed it says no one is online but you cannot see the text unless you highlight it normally you could see the text even when no one was in the chatroom now its like the font color is matching the white background in a way

the chatroom is up right now with 2 people in it if you would like to see what i am talking about :) www.zer0society.com
