I am a owner of http://savearound.in and going to setup a forum for my site .
My site is having decent traffic and using shared hosting plan of hostgator . So my question if is i install codologic on my site then would i need to change my hosting plan or shared plan will able to handle codologic forum easily ?

The shared plan should work without problems.

But, the problem is not in the performance but security of your data.

Shared platforms do not value your data, so if their server goes down for any reason, you will lose all your data.
