So I understand you are supposed to use the blocks to make changes to the nav bar at the top, but something is wrong in my case. I have installed the Battledark theme and I'd like to change the "Link" dropdown menu. You don't have to add it. Edit the existing block 'Main Menu'

Try changing the theme to default and then edit the block and see if it works
