Making a new Theme

I have just bought FreiChat and I am trying to make a new Theme... I don't know if it's a bug, or if I am doing something wrong, but the background of the header of the chatwindow (DIV#chatboxhead_max1.chatboxhead for example) doesn't change when I change the color in the background fields.

I just want to change the gradient blue color in the header to a black gradient... Can you help me doing that.

Thanks
