hi @Aus problem is I'm a non-techie, I'll be hiring a developer to build a forum for me as part of a bigger website.

I've tried pretty much everything to get a little help from the owners of this forum, but they've kinda ground me down with their lack of action, all they do is ask questions and re-read our email exchanges (I use hubspot to track) every day or so.

Don't want to start paying a freelancer to load this software in case it's a waste of time. I was really keen on it, but now I keep finding little annoying bugs and the customer service/support seems non-existent so I'm quickly going off it as a solution.

Can anyone recommend another forum script that's similar, I'm happy to pay for a script as I'll have to spend a few hundred bucks customising whatever I use anyway.

It's just the complete lack of interest from these guys that's killing me

Thing is, I don't think my bad experience of codologic is because I asked an 'easy' question, my bad experience is because of really bad customer service.

I can get a developer to do all this for me. But. What happens if the developer hits a difficult problem. Will the response be any different or will it be the creepy re-reading my emails every couple of days but not replying?
