I've discovered a new problem with the chat software, it will not show if a user selects remember me, leave the site then return the chat module will not show up, if they log out then log back in all is well, this only appeared when the site was updated to 3.6.2.

my site has community builder as well, I​ can provide any other info needed.

Did you try refreshing the page ?

Do you get any errors in the browser console ?

yes to the browser refresh, no error messages in the browser console, I've even removed freichat and cleaned out the tables and reinstalled it to the site and the problems persist.

It's not just me but other users of my site report the same problem.

What is happening right now is, the user is not recognized as logged in via the readme option.

As a temporary solution, you can allow access to guests in freichat
