Hello,

There is a user registered on my forum, whenever he makes a post it is posted as by "Admin" which is the admin id of forum. I don't know what's wrong.

I had to edit the mysql tables to make it appear as posted by actual user.
Does anyone know how to fix the issue with the user and how to prevent that from happening in future?

Did you import a old db using the importer from codoforum backend ?

Is this on 3.4 or 3.6?
I have this occurring but randon different user names come up on 3.4 but not all the time so it is impossible to find what it is.
If it is the same user it might be an error in the DB somewhere relating to topic/post/Notification/id

It is 3.6 and it is only one user for now, not random.

It started 3 days ago and no, I didn't import or modify database. I've not found anything inconsistent about that user's data in database.

Can you check the roles that are assigned for this user from codoforum backend ?

Maybe he just kept his display name as admin ?

No, he reported the issue himself and I confirmed it.

'is_promoted' is '0' on that uid.

No, his display name is different and so was when he reported the issue.
