Hello. I just bought the new v9.0 freichat with cam support and I must say I am quite impressed, it works great. My question is this, I am using a laptop and I have an external camera plugged into it plus it has a built in cam. I want to use the built in cam and I want to use the mic thats built into my external camera. Is there a way to setup default devices with this cam chat?

the video chat is plugin free and so you don't have to rely on flash or an other thing to set up your devices

that is indeed a very good idea, but currently there are limitations, the video chat is peer to peer based, just think of a user in a chat room, the user will have to broadcast his video to everyone in the chatroom. so it will be like uploading a video to many others, but as the users increase the demand on that one user also increases.

we like your idea, we will surely implement it by using some kind of media server that will help in distributing the video.
