FreiChat doesn't show up after installation

Hello,

I successfully installed FreiChat 9.2 for Joomla 3.0.3
What shows up on the assigned pages is the name of the chat, but now dialogs (users, rooms, menu etc.)

I followed the installation instruction and I tried some access options in the FreiChat options (Everyone, disable for guests = No etc.) and also for the modules options in Joomla (now it is Public).

What might be a problem is that I use a special template (av_pinboard) but I also tried the standard ones (protostar or Beez3).

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
Oliver

We did not understand what you meant here . Can you provide more details (A screenshot would be helpful.)

If you cannot see freichat , check for any errors in the browser error console .

I am sorry, "... but no dialogs", I made a mistake.
No browser errors, only the name of the chat is shown, here is the link to the homepage: http://www.lena-boehm.de (when configured for public access)

Thanks for your quick response.

You have not placed the freichat directory properly . Make sure it is inside your root website directory .

The following url http://www.lena-boehm.de/freichat/ is giving a 404 error .
Did you change the location of freichat folder (or renamed it ) after installation ?

I reinstalled freichat in the appropriate folder, now http://www.lena-boehm.de/freichat works.
The module in Joomla seems to be working fine too, the title of the freichat is shown at the expected position (and I can change it in the Joomla module administration)..

But there are still no chat rooms or dialogues shown, although everthing should be set to "public", "guests disabled = now" and so on.

According to the standard installation guide it should work initially without any custom configuration, but unfortunately it doesn't.

Thanks a lot for your support.
