Friechat and messenger, cb,joomla 1.5

I have a joomla 1.5 site with cb 1.4

the messenger for cb is fantastic its freichat.3.4.0.beta.zip for community Builder

However when people log in, I can never see them yet sometimes they can see me

It seems to work with older chatters and they can be seen

But new chatters coming in can't be seen on the messenger

just wondered if you could help thanks

Try installing the latest version of freichat i.e FreiChatX 5.0 Alpha

The version that you are using has way too many bugs .

Also Im not that developed in tech, the last friechat was a simple upload and adjustment, this one looks more complex, do I uninstall the messenger we have at the moment and then upload this ?

Its the same like freichat , which you have now , but it is CMS independent version.
with many new features and plenty bugs solved

Also Im not that developed in tech, the last friechat was a simple upload and adjustment, this one looks more complex, do I uninstall the messenger we have at the moment and then upload this ?

Until succesfull install of FreiChatX , disable the old module for time being , after that
you can uninstall it if you want.

The installation is simple , also a readme file is provided for installation, so please read it.

no we did not receive your email,
make sure you use " [username] FreiChatX free installation" as the title. this will make it easier for us to search.
