Hi,

Although the video chat somewhat now works since you sent me the code to include on more detailed use (that is where someone types in more than just 5-10 lines of text you will find that the Chat stops working. That is to say the text neither scrolls up allowing room for new text to be added at the bottom nor does it even allow you to "enter" text. As if it has a 5 line maximum entry. This sort of chat typing input behavior is not ideal for a chatroom as users should be able to type more than 5-10 lines of text during a video conversation.

If you could take a look at this (you have the login details as I have not changed them)

Also, I did earlier ask when are you roughly expecting to have the "update" for the video chat ready but somehow I did not get any response on that question from you. If you could let me know that would be appreciated.

Are there any instructions of how to use it with Sqlite ?

I am using XAMPP and codoforum v4.4.
I tried to use the SQLITE db and get the following error:

Pardon the slight delayed feedback as very busy. The Chat on the video is now working after I inserted the missing code provided by you. thanks for that.

That said may I ask when are we expecting the "upgrade" you promised was in progress? Also I did ask in a separate ticket but how can I change/include my own audio clips as when you are sent a video request it is hardly audible or alerting (that is somehow it does not properly alert the end user that a request has been sent unless they are paying extra attention or expecting a request as the audio needs to stand out). If possible in your upgrade why not include a "Flashing/blinking" window as the chat window could blink.

Finally, when you have a lot of chats the chat window (the normal chat window I mean) gets cluttered and it is very hard to read the chat messages is there no way to increase the window size?

Does anyone respond to trouble tickets as I have two tickets and not one has been attended to yet for over two weeks? Issues all relate to the business version of Freichat as the "Chat feature is NOT WORKING and the video needs a more user friendly way of alerting the users that a video has started as when you generate a REQUEST the link takes a long time to show on the other end (Even when both users are in the same country [Europe]) so you end up having both users frantically sending requests at random.

Also in the ticket you requested for information and when I gave you what you requested it was not even looked used.

Finally, I know you mentioned an "update" is due for the Freichat/Video would you know when you are expecting to release that update?

How do I limit the daily thread opening of my users?

Hi,

We have just installed FREICHAT business version and although the "Chat" tool is extremely good value the Video does need a little work.
1) The Chat incorporated in the video section does not always work (I shall be raising a trouble-ticket for this but thought it wise to mention it here)
2) The page that opens for chat could do with a bit of color is there anyway one can either add a "Background" or color to the page background? If not the take it as a suggestion.
3) the idea of a separate pop up window for video I do understand but an Option to have it "Embedded" inside the same window as the CHAT module from where you initially launch the video would be nice. Or atleast let it pop-up in the Chat room window or something as users having to leave the page they are on is somewhat not always a desirable behavior for website owners.
4) Most importantly what about "Screen Share"? You have Screen Capture but Screen share is the feature most desired in any video conference tool. Whistles and bells features are nice but it is "Screen Share" that does the magic.

hi i have installed it on elgg 2.3 but the last step says copy to theme's page/elements/head.php

but i cant find it the only thing i can find is vendor\elgg\elgg\views\default\page\elements\head.php

the chat comes up on the site but it cant load users

Is it possible to send a notification email to the administrator when a user registers? I have enabled the "Account registrations require admin approval" option, but it seems the administrator is not notified.

What have I missed?

Another question: if I allow unverified users to create new topics, is it possible to automatically make those posts moderated, so that they only show up, after moderation?

Not sure if:

first of all, a big thank for this innovative forum with using of last technologies like responsive design thanks to HTML5 and CSS3.

I would suggest to add a new setting beside "Hide topic messages" and "Enable infinite scrolling" : the possibility to display directly in full rendering aspect the forum instead to click to "read more" link. This option very usefull for small forum allow a logical display with the right formating choosen by the writers. By example, it is indeed curious to see the quotes text part mixing with the answer.
If you don't want to have a too big user settings part in the frontend, this choice can be put else in the backend part.

Can anyone please suggest me, where I can edit the HTML Layouts of the site, I mean, like we do in wordpress like, there is a main index.php file, where we can add functions in the header, or editing the existed functions, and Where to go for single topic layout editing, like we do in wordpress by editing the single-post.php..

I just purchased the upgrade to Corporate from Free. I'm not sure what I need to adjust to allow my SMF forum's visitors to use Freichat on their mobile phone or tablet. The current workaround is to show the website on the mobile device in desktop mode. I'm sure there is something I need to add to get access to the mobile chat feature in the paid version.

i have set up my site with the idea that a category will allow unregistered users to post topics (about the problems they had registering, if any)
the problem is that i set up the 'guest' user permissions to allow posting and editing of topics for this particular category, and the 'post new topic' box appears to logged out users. if you try to click it, however, it takes you to the login page, and refuses to let the guest post a new topic.
any suggestions on how to make that happen? or is it not allowed in this system?

I'm developing a plugin based on uni_login (only with google) which allow to filter email adresses (a list for example). I wanted to know how is it possible to add an admin menu where I will manage my restriction list when the plugin is enabled.
