The mails aren't being sent when I I create new accounts for my forum. I have tried smtp and mail() but neither work. SMTP says error SMTP() and mail says sent but it doesn't send.

So i installed codoforum on my server machine and i did the installation on the local network. Browsing the foum on the local network works just fine but when you are out side all the glyphicons etc wont load and there for the loading time will be horible. I found out that codoforum had installed the directory paths on the local network ip adress (192.168...../path/to/directory) and there for you cannot access it while outside of the network. Any idea how to fix this?

What Codoforum version are you using? If using version 3 do you plan to upgrade to 4?

I have determined that the issue appears when a username with spaces is used upon registration.

The fix should either automatically convert confirmation url spaces into %20, or forbid using spaces in usernames, I'd prefer the second, because i replaced the space with a %20 in the given url and confirmation was successful. Some people love using spaces in their personal IDs.

I've recently installed v4.2 locally (on a dev box), and am in the process of doing a major customisation exercise to integrate it with my website.

I've created three block plugins to inject stuff into layout.tpl, and I've found two bugs:

1. everything was being injected at the top of the page, instead of at the appropriate block tag. I tracked this down to function loadPlugin in forum/sys/CODOF/Plugin.php -- the if is the wrong way round, line 71 should be:

   if ($plugin['plg_type'] !== 'plugin') {
   

2. the list of plugins is not being loaded on page (for example) forum/admin/index.php?page=ui/blocks&action=editblock&id=5 -- I haven't tracked this one down yet, but have worked around it for now by manually setting the module column in table codo_blocks.

Hello, I feel as if my other post was ignored so I am making a new post regarding it.

I installed Codoforum and It came with no preinstalled icons.

As the image shows the blue box should have a search icon, which it doesn't. The only icon showing infact is the notification bell icon.

Is this on purpose and if it isn't how do I fix it?

Please how can i make the categories list to Load fully dropped down on mobile view.

 I mean when the front page is loaded the categories list should already be dropped down by default.

Hello, I am self hosting codoforum and am really enjoying it.

I however have a problem, none of the icons are showing.

Did anyone else have this problem and how did they fix it?

I just added Freichat to my webserver and I am using SMF V2. Everything seemed like it installed correctly and I can administer Freichat but it doesn't show anything under SMF. It even picked up my pre registered users from SMF. I did install the freichat_integ.zip within SMF as well. What am I missing?

Is it possible that users also receive text message notifications on post activities. It would really go far in helping the forum

Please i still make use of version 3.7 cos i didn't really like version 4 so please if this is implemented then a plugin suitable for both versions would be better and then linked to an sms provider API. That would really promote codoforum above others

Everyone is a guest also the users who are online.

is there a way to set the chatrooms limited to only friends who created it? as in user 53 has 32 friends, and only those 32 friends can see and sign in to the chatroom while lets say user 295 isn't friend with user 53, so user 295 can't see set chat.
