Hi, I have a problem with my freichat installation, it seems all the css of freichat is stripped off would you please help. check it on http://www.freedomassembly.org. it is sent to the bottom left corner of the site. I cannot even locate the chat room box

Using the paid version (latest) with SMF forum. I cannot get the upload feature to work in the chat rooms. It says the file has been uploaded but it doesn't show up in the chat rooms. I also get an error message. Here is a screen shot of the error:

the file upload only works in firefox on my site. If i will do an file upload in chrome and internet explorer it is open a new window. But the window is blank.

I did a custom installation of Freichat Platinum. It works fine. However, some of the Javascript used in my original script stopped working. When I do not load Freichat, the functions work fine. I receive the error:

“TypeError: $ is not a function”

I tried the following, with no result:

require_once 'jquery/js/jquery.1.8.3.js';

to

//require_once 'jquery/js/jquery.1.8.3.js';

Emptying both the files
freichat\client\jquery\js\jquery.1.7.1.js

and

freichat\client\jquery\js\jquery.1.8.3.js

In hardcode.php, set $force_load_jquery = 'YES';

I am loading jQuery (version 1.11.1) before I load Freichat:

Any ideas?

What about a feature that will allow the users to subscribe to categories? Some users may want to see only the topics of a few categories and all of them. I think you should consider this in the future.

Is there way for me or part of the code to extract the function when you click a name and then his chat window appears?

Because I plan to remove the main chat list and just add a button on each profile that says "Chat" and indicates if the user is online or not.

When clicked, the chat window of the user will pop up as normally as it should in the current default setup.

When someone make new reply to a topic, that topic come on first number at home page, but we can see first post of that topic, any way we can make any changes that shows last post in home page and not first post

I'm new to Freichat. And i have two problems. I use PhpFusion and this is first problem:

If i install free version of Freichat, all work perfect. Now, i buy Corporate version, install it and i don't see any Guest or members anymore.

I think, the problem is here:
If i go to the admin panel -> Moderation i get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function fetchAll() on a non-object in /data/t/e/**/**.com/web/freichat/administrator/admin_files/moderate_users/drivers/base.php on line 130

How can i fix this problem, please?

Problem nr. two:

Freichat don't support friend sync for PhpFusion. I now, PhpFusion don't have friend system.
But, admin on my site create for me friend system with everything (search, requests, member list etc.). What i must to do in Freichat for show my friend list in the chat?
my database look like something like this:

table_id........friend_who........friend_with

FreiChat is awesome but it still needs some polishing chat box is missing scroll bar it should have a scroll bar to view old messages and on every request it should fetch only 5 or 10 old messages...

I can't test CF for the moment, and that's why I simply have to ask.
Somewhere here I saw that CF supports Friendly URLs, and this is fine. But in terms of SEO, how good is CF? Have you tested it very well? Do you use Google Webmaster tools for this forum here to see how is performing for Google?
Very important in SEO performance are the URLs and the content. In no way a forum should generete more than one URL for one content. If it does this it is very bad. Does CF support Canonical Tags? If not, it should!
When the system rewrite the URLs (for the friendly ones) the not-friendly ones should disappear. And, Keywords, description, titles are very important too. And not only those for the main site, but for every category, topic and user.

I am integrating FreiChat in a custom social networking website... i found some bugs in version 9.6 regarding to table prefix... FreiChat is now integrated with my with user base now i want to connect it to friendship table so that chat box should show online friend friends only.. Kindly help me in this...

here is table structure for my friendship table
id | to_id | from_id | time_sent | time_accepted | staus | relation

id = auto increment .
to_id = id of user who sent the friend request.
from_id = id of user who recieved the friend request.
time_sent = time on which the request was initiated.
time_accepted = time on which both became friends.
status = confirmed or awaiting.

Also i am unable to buy freichat due to lack of money if you can provide me a limitation free edition of FreiChat with video chat then i will include powered by codologic in footer or about page as demanded by admin or owner of frichat. If you are interested in this then kindly email me...

Just another suggestion

Because: for the user should be super-ease and possible from everywhere in the forum, in every moment, to search the site and post new topics. That's why these should be permanently on the top.
The Logout could be inside My Profile as drop-down button. The avatar gives more personality. And a notifications button when you are finished with this feature. Like Quora somehow!

My 2 cents.

Every good Forum should have the option of the subboards or subcategories, how it is called here. Another suggestion

Now, my sole question right now, is if there's any way that when the private chat is clicked, it will send an automatic message on window open to the receiver stating an URL?

Here is how you change GRAVATAR avatar "monsters" to any specific image

Edit this file:
www.yourwebsitename.com/freichat/server/freichat.php

Find this code (line: 410) or just search for $avatar_url

$avatar_url = "http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/" . md5($guest) . "?s=24&d=wavatar"; //$this->url . "/client/jquery/user.jpeg";

Replace the code above to the code below:

$avatar_url = "http://png1.findicons.com/files/icons/1072/face_avatars/300/i04.png";

P.S. If you want to change the code back to GRAVATAR avatars just create a copy of original line and comment it.

Hi, I am using freichat with jomsocial, and I want to have the avatars appearing in the main chat window (where you type messages). Can you tell me where I can put that in the code?

Also I've noticed sometimes I can see 10 guests in the chat, but on google analytics there are maybe 1 or 2 people. Is this google bots or other bots? If so, where/how can I detect that in the code and ignore those?

Also, does the video chat use WebRTC. Does video chat work on mobile devices and iphone?

i installed the plugin from freichat in wordpress to get show freichat in my wordpress but i want to put the avatar to the same that in my wordpress, for that i create this function in freichatx.php (a file from the plugin) but no my question is how can i call this function in rootwherewordpressisinstalded/freichat/server/freichat.php
I already find what i need to change and what i need to change the only quiestion is how to call this function.

Am I doing something wrong with the configuration under the user list in the backend I can only see the option to ban. I cannot see any option to make someone an admin or chat moderator.
