A speaks in french and B in German for example and I 'd like that they understand eachother so the translation would be in both directions (A to B and Bto A).

How can I do that ?

I've successfully installed Freichat with no warnings or errors. I can access the admin panel and I have installed and enabled the module. The module is set to show on all pages.
I have set it to appear on the right but I don't see any chat room menu or chat box. Are there any extra steps or known issues with Joomla 3.x?

i set up freichat yesterday and try it out.
So i have to issues.
First the counter on the web site says i have two guests but they doesn´t appear in the chat.
Second i try to send a file and it says susscessful send to 4, but nighter at my friend or me arrived the file. Where i can find them and what can be the problem. I'm sure that i made something wrong in the settings of the chat :) so far a nice and easy chat system.

No aparecen iconos de cerrar minimizar o agrandar en el chat privado .
En versiones anteriores ocurria lo mismo y no se ual puede ser el motivo.
en IE tampocop aparecen pero si toco en la eskina del chat muy proximo a la esquina si que cierra pero en google chrome no.
No se que es lo que puede pasar les mando una foto para que vea a lo que me refiero.
PD: Tampoco aparece el simbolo rojo, verde, amarillo, etc del chat privado aparece todfo menos eso

I have been reading through the following article: http://codologic.com/page/node/767 about how to implement Freichat in tandem with my Joomla 3's own login www.swswsws.co.uk , well I actually use Community Builder 1.9 for all social networking elements of our site, including registration and login.

However, I am struggling to get my head around it and just hitting a brick wall with the above article.

Is there any kind soul who knows Freichat and can help me through the implementation to get my Freichat linked up to my CB 1.9 login system, it would be truly appreciated?

I have the class .content in my personal theme of Joomla and I can't use theme editor.

For you information: Finally I must was edit css with notepad an add this lines because I was background chat window like web (black) and border was erroneous:

Recently I updated v7 to v9.3 I deletd all files in host but I can't delete upload.php

I received host info about a exploited usung old upload service. Then, may be this upload what I can't delete or update is corrupted? Or is normal what I can't delete.

I'm running Joomla 3.1.5 and managed to get Freichat Free installed and in to the chat admin panel, also having installed the Freichat Joomla module... however, if you look at the screenshot you see that part of Freichat is situated in the bottom left corner and it's only text, no kind of nice looking button like I saw in your demo or installation documentation images etc.

My site is www.swswsws.co.uk and i've made it available to guests temporarily until I hear from you, to give you chance to take a look for yourself and see what you think.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course and hope you can help me, as I'm still getting to grips with your extension.

Hi. Just downloaded a trial of FreiChat, and copied the FreiChat dir to the site. But when I try to run the insall I get the Internal server error message.
I have set the whole FreiChat dir to 777 also tried 755, still the same.
Anyone have another idea of what could be wrong?

if I go to the site by guest, guests can access the private chat room even if they are not qualified to do so.

Is that normal that main.php generates about 290kb of data on each refresh? I disabled chatroom plugin because i need only IM like functionality and its still a large chunk of data

I can't login with my users, i have followed all the integrations steps ( except for avatars ) and i've implemented the code, and everything works fine, only the users are not detected bye the chat, the option Access Control > moderation it shows the users, it identify correctly the username and the password, but in the chat the name Guest-xxx remains, what could it be ?

How I can't update mod for I have the 1.5 joomla version I try modifi config of freichat for disable upload function. I can't find the config web area. Wher is it?

1. In v.9.3 I can the users can have avatar even if I have disabled this feature on the back end.
1. In v.9.3 the freichat doesn't load when the user log. It needs to click on any link on the page in order the freichat to be loaded. In v.9.2 it worked ok.

I thought I would download and install the free version of Freichat to be able to evaluate it live on my site, before deciding whether or not to purchase the fuller version(s)

However, when I go to install it via my joomla's backend, I get the following message;

Installed Freichat v9.3 on my site (running Joomla 2.5.14) last night. After a few initial teething troubles with file permissions and having to clear browser cache/refresh page to get Chat room to show up and for it to recognise that there were users online, I tried posting a test message in a private room I had set up in the backend with a password. It just let me post without asking for the password though. I am logged in as website admin on one browser (Chrome) and as a regular user in another (Firefox). I can understand it allowing me to post as the admin without a password but the regular user should be asked for the password before seeing the option to use the room surely? I have restricted use of the whole chat to 4 Joomla usergroups and wondered if this conflicts with the private room settings?

Can anyone please advise how I can fix this? Also any help as to how I integrate avatars from my Kunena forum would be gratefully received.
