Hello, I've installed Freichat X 6.3.2 on Joomla 1.5.2 on Community Builder 1.7. I did all the important steps to install the freichat, however after two installations (one for normal joomla, second for joomla with CB) I have the same error.

I tried to install the chat several times on WP and joomla. It installs fine no errors but chat isn't showing . On admin panel when I click on "chatrooms" I see this :

My Problem is, that at the Beginning the history works normal, but after 50-100 Posts it gets confused. It begins to summarize the posts by names instead of sorting by time when its posted.

I am using Joomla 1.7 and FreichatX 6.2

I used Freichat on a few websites -no problems, or I was always getting a perfect support. Just a beautiful chat solution.
And now I have a problem that i cannot resolve no matter what I do.
I'm trying to install FreichatX, the latest version (tried the previous one - same thing), and all I'm getting after I accept license agreement on the first page is this message:
403 Permission Denied
You do not have permission for this request /freichat/installation/specific.php?1333471659=true
Please, help me - I don't know how to get around this message. Changing permissions on any files just produces different errors.

I´m still having issues with the avatar thumb not showing except when I´m on the frontpage.

My setup is Joomla 2.5 with JomSocial 2.4.2

I also found out that file-sharing doesn´t work.
I can send files correctly but when the reciever clicks on the file-link this happens:

The link goes to: http://www.mysite.com/freichat/client/plugins/upload/download.php?filename=

with the message: Sorry, the file doesn't seem to exist.

Pls advice.

have just installed FreiChatX 6.3.2 and the Instant Messaging
and chat room show up but when I log into my site the Instant Messaging
shows no users online.
The Chat room shows my full name but would like it to show user names
only.

I have used custom drivers. currently in user listing ,it shows all the users as a online user.Which is not correct.

I've successfully install the Frei-Chat 6.22 version on my website however is was not working, i saw no users nor chat rooms, when I try to install the
6.3.1. version, this is the message that i got
Internal Server Error

I've "successfully" installed freichatx and even made parameter changes through the admin. The only thing I've changed is: VI. ChatBox on load should be: minimized. Freichat, however, does not appear anywhere on the screen. What did I miss? Here is my site URL

Feirechat is not starting up in IE.

When i browse to the site in IE, the user is added to the database. But the boxes to chat, and the box to see wich users are online are NOT shown.



It works fine in CHROME and FF.

I have from al browsers the latest editions.
Is this a know problem?

I've installed freichat on localhost with Elgg 1.8.3 with no problem at all, it works great. But when I install it on my production site on my web server, chat box (right bottom of the screen) and draggable box are not appearing. It only appears when you are logged off, but not showing when you are logged in.

I got the js generated from http://evnix-dot-com.appspot.com/?time=1325470593 via some web proxy and named tmp.js, then I modified test.php to

I have read the manual for adding Avatar support in a Custom setup.

I did not changed ag.php because the field name is correct.

Is there any plan on adding moderator tools so that select users will be able to clear the chat window or kick other people from the chat?

I love the way the script works, and I use it for the website staff to communicate, but I would like to be able to implement this for all my users, but I would need to be able to have staff members moderate the chat rooms.

Also the ability to create rooms with special access, either password protected, or possibly a list of User Id's that has access to it.

Got freichat up and running, but it works better under chrome than IE, is this by default, or is there something I need to tweak to make the messaging system more visible, and that you can see the usernames correctly, or even reszing the users online part.

I'm using the chat with buddies, so I would like to see all my buddies in the list even if tey're offline.
